Civics Education: Now More Than Ever
The West Virginia Civics Coalition celebrated National Civics Learning Week by hosting Civics Education: Now More Than Ever! at the WV Culture Center on March 11, 2024. This event was primarily funded by a grant from iCivics.
Students, teachers, education leaders, government officials, and other community members gathered from multiple counties across the state to listen to West Virginia leaders, watch a portrayal of Senator Jennings Randolph, get hands-on experience with voting machines, and participate in a Constitutional Scavenger Hunt in the West Virginia History Museum.
